Salvage gas-tax item from budget, Tory urges
TORONTO -- Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory says all political parties in Ottawa should put aside their differences over the federal budget and approve a provision in it promising $5-billion over five years in gas-tax transfers for cities.
