STV gets high-profile boost
VANCOUVER -- Waving signs and hollering their approval, a small crowd gathered in Vancouver yesterday to hear high-profile supporters make their case for the single transferable vote, or STV, system.Kicking off the event, environmentalist David Suzuki said STV has the potential to transform British Columbia's fractious, polarized political scene and to deliver more clout to individual voters.
