AIDS, drought ravaging southern Africa, UN warns

JOHANNESBURG -- Top United Nations officials meeting in Johannesburg yesterday warned that the interlocking problems of drought and AIDS have put millions of people in southern Africa at risk of starvation, and threaten to undermine the precious progress made in AIDS treatment.
