CRTC gives green light to satellite radio services
Canada's radio universe got bigger yesterday with the federal broadcast regulator's approval of three pay-radio licences. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission gave the green light to two satellite-based systems and one land-based proposal, yet it attached stringent Canadian content restrictions.
