Territory's fortunes rise on China's economic flood

Mi Laoshu and Dang Laoya has come to Hong Kong.For the uninitiated, that is Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. The opening this month of Hong Kong Disneyland is yet another sign of changed times in the former British colony. No longer is the economy suffering and deflation rampant. Times are good, the Asian financial crisis is history, property values are rising, SARS is just a bad memory and the tourists are flocking into Hong Kong at a mind-boggling rate of 1.5 million a month.
