Canada: Nice place, but a tad too boring

SHIJIAZHUANG, CHINA -- Goggle-eyed and solemn, the Chinese students are gazing at a heroic painting of Canadian war surgeon Norman Bethune at the battlefront, selflessly donating his own blood."That's the blood of Dr. Bethune flowing into a Chinese soldier," says Gao Gang, a 20-year-old police-academy freshman who is touring the Bethune museum here. "And it represents the close relationship between our two countries."
