Heart-surgery recovery time slashed
Elizabeth White has just had major heart surgery: Surgeons at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children replaced the valve that allows blood to flow from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery, which takes blood from the heart to the lungs.
