MDs ask watchdog to probe wait-time calamities

Ontario's emergency-room doctors are asking provincial Ombudsman André Marin to investigate cases where they say patients have died or become seriously ill while waiting for care."The government is failing the people of Ontario by not providing timely access to emerg care," Andy Brockway said yesterday, "and what we want the ombudsman to do is make the government live up to its responsibility."
