Liberals expected to field Garneau
OTTAWA -- Former astronaut Marc Garneau is expected to run for the Liberal Party in the coming election, party sources said.Mr. Garneau, 56, became the first Canadian in space when he flew aboard the space shuttle Challenger in 1984, and is now executive vice-president of the Canadian Space Agency.
