Charest takes heat for wading into federal war of words on Quebec
QUEBEC CITY -- Quebec Premier Jean Charest has unwillingly landed in the centre of a stormy debate over national unity in the federal election campaign.The events unfolded when Conservative Leader Stephen Harper accused Liberal Leader Paul Martin of undermining Mr. Charest's staunchly federalist government, a move he said served to reinforce the separatist forces in Quebec.
