Massive stroke fells Sharon

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was rushed into surgery last night with massive brain hemorrhaging, leaving Deputy Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to take over the government as his country waited nervously for news of the 77-year-old leader.
