Waterfront audit report left out key facts
Federal officials omitted the most critical findings of a recently released audit into how public money was spent on Toronto's waterfront, The Globe and Mail has learned.Auditors examined how the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Initiative has spent almost $30-million since 2001. Among the findings that were not included in the published report was a recommendation to "investigate whether there was unauthorized usage of funds" involving some contracts.
