Cipher shares soar on U.S. approval of drug
Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc. saw its shares soar by more than 50 per cent yesterday after announcing it had received final U.S. approval for an anti-cholesterol drug. The Mississauga-based company said its formulation of fenofibrate, CIP-Fenofibrate, was approved under the label Lipofen.
