No panic among economists over quake's impact on inflation

OTTAWA -- Economists are concerned but not panicked about the impact the Chinese earthquake will have on inflation and that country's overheated economy.Their first tentative advice is to take a deep breath and wait for more information. But they have a wary eye on Sichuan's important hog and electricity production, and are watching carefully to see how much pressure the earthquake will add to China's stretched resources and soaring food prices.
