4 a.m. closing time begins in December

VICTORIA -- Drinkers in British Columbia will soon have until 4 a.m. to imbibe alcohol at their favourite bar or pub.Besides announcing the extra two hours of drinking time, the B.C. government said yesterday that, for the first time, restaurants will be allowed to allot space for a bar and let patrons take home what's left of their bottles of wine.
