TrueNorth Energy shelves oil sands project
CALGARY -- TrueNorth Energy LLP has put its $3.5-billion oil sands project on ice, saying its search for a new partner was stymied by the rising costs in the sector, timid capital markets and uncertainty over the impact of the Kyoto Protocol.
