DeVILBISS, Margaret Berwick (nee McKay)
At 92, after a long illness in Westmount, Quebec, predeceased by her husband Cameron Berwick in 1974 and by her second husband Robert DeVilbiss in 2002. Beloved mother of Jim Berwick (Margaret), Jean Hollingworth (Alan), and Hugh Berwick (Jill) and cherished stepmother of Edwin DeVilbiss (Carol). Peggy had an enthusiastic approach to life and her thoughtfulness, and genuine love of and concern for others made her friends wherever she lived: in Westmount, the Laurentians, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and in Blairstown, New Jersey. Her grandchildren will remember her as an active woman who lived a full and rich life. She loved skiing, swimming, fishing, traveling, volunteering for numerous organizations, playing bridge, cooking and reading, however, the centre of her life was always her family. She leaves a legacy of love which we will always remember and continue to celebrate. Thanks to the staff at the Chateau Westmount for the loving care and compassion she received in her last years. A private family burial will take place in the Mont Royal Cemetery at a later date.
