COOK, John Stuart Northey
Born in London England in 1925, died peacefully at home on Tuesday March 25, 2008. Beloved husband of Nancy Elizabeth (nee Couillard). Dear father of Judy Wood, David and the late Bruce (1980). Dear father-in-law of Lawrence Onisto, Margaret Cook, Edith Heyck and the late Ted Wood (1990). Loving grandfather of Kathleen, Bruce and Matthew Wood and Rachel, Robin and Erica Cook. He will be sadly missed by his devoted sister Peggy (Margaret) Cook of Sussex England. John was a loving uncle, brother-in- law and cousin to an extended family both here and in England. John was a peaceful, gentle and artistic man who enjoyed his family, a good pipe, walking his dogs, reading and building models. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29 2008 at 1 pm at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1513 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario. A reception in the church hall will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario SPCA, 16586 Woodbine Ave, R.R 3, Newmarket, Ontario L3Y 4W1, or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place.
