Gwendolyn Frances Hemmans
My beautiful mother passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy Haskins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of late George Edward W. Hemmans and her beloved daughter Gayden Ann Hemmans. Gwen is survived by her loving, devoted daughter Barbara Hemmans, sons-in-law Jon Turvey and Erik Kalaidzis, grandchildren Michael and Farrell Turvey, sister Reverend Viola Williamson, brother Gordon Haskins and spouse Vera Cernetic and nine nieces and nephews. Gwen lived an exciting and healthy life in Toronto and Vancouver and loved both cities. She will be remembered by family and friends for her love and true enjoyment of life, caring personality, sense of humour, her elegance and grace, her appreciation of the artistic, aesthetic world and her great gift in connecting people together. Her family was the joy of her life. She will be missed for her deep ability to love, her wonderful laughter and God given gift to be flirtatious and joyous. Her family will remember her for her unconditional love, inner strength and the wisdom in her journey to the other side. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
