MARGARET ANNA HALL Passed away at the Bethany Care Centre on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Marion (Robert) of Calgary and by her nieces, Carol Hall of Calgary, Wendy (Bob) Benson of Calgary and Kelly (Michael) Clarke of Toronto; great-nieces and nephews, Dionne Lorenz, David (Nikki) Benson, Paul and Katie Clarke and great-greatnieces and nephews, Connor, Willow and Colby Lorenz, Kayla and Reagan Benson as well as other relatives in Canada and abroad. She was predeceased by her parents, Amy and Robert Hall; brothers, Robert and John Hall and nephew Robert Hall. Margaret spent her early years in Winnipeg, but the family relocated to Saskatoon, SK in 1933, when her father Robert Hall Sr. became a manager with Eatons Department store. During WWII, Margaret worked for the RCAF for over three years in Saskatoon. She joined Canada Department of External Affairs, serving in Ottawa, London and Canberra. Margaret worked in Canada House in Trafalgar Square and in Human Resources in the private sector after leaving public service. She was the past President of the Calgary Woman's Canadian Club. Margaret enjoyed walking, painting, gardening, swimming and in earlier years, climbing. The family extends a special acknowledgement to Wayne Neal, Dale and Barbara McLaren and family, Iqbal Rahman, Donna Neufeld and Susan and Rob Way. Margaret truly valued their friendship and support throughout her life. A Memorial Service was held at St. Paul's Anglican Church (7 Sunmills Green S.E.) on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. If so desired, a memorial donation may be made in Margaret's name directly to the Mustard Seed Street Ministry (102 -11 Avenue, Calgary, Alberta, T2G 0X5).
