After a recent illness on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, the day before his 82nd birthday. Dear husband of Catherine Henning of Port Hope. Predeceased by his wife Gudrun. Beloved father of Dr. James (Gail) of Ancaster, John (April) of Toronto and Dr. Peter (Jane) of Newmarket. Dearly loved grandfather of Geoffrey and Andrew, Michael, Stephanie and Paul, Robert, Stephen, Matthew and Michelle. Cherished brother of Hilary Hill, of Beaconsfield, Quebec and the late Shirley Pattenden. Berry will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a resident of Port Hope for the past 17 years. He was a long-term employee of the Green Cross Division of CIBA-GEIGY, where he was an expert in home and garden herbicides and pesticides. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church (Church & D'arcy Streets) Newmarket on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at St. John's Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, Mississauga.
