MACNAUGHTON, Alex
Died peacefully after a battle with cancer on May 10, 2008, with his loving wife Phyllis at his side. He was 92. Loving father of Donald and Ross, supportive grandfather of Duncan and Spencer. He was a successful Toronto lawyer, founder of the Graduates Club of Toronto, founder with Phyllis of the Port Carling Bridge Club, a member of the founders group of Mansfield Skiways, a member of St. Margaret's Anglican Church, a member of the Kiwanis Club of North Toronto, a member of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, a racing sailboat champion, and a Muskoka cottager. He will be missed with fond memories by his family and many friends. Visitation at Morley Bedford Funeral Home at 159 Eglinton Avenue West (at Lascelles Blvd.), on Wednesday, May 14 between 7 and 9 p.m., and on Thursday, May 15 between 2 and 4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, 53 Burnaby Blvd. (west of Avenue Road, one block north of Eglinton), Friday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m.
