SHEDD; MARJORY (One of Canada's most gifted Athletes, won National Honours in Basketball and Volleyball but tr uly excelled in Badminton winning 44 provincial and 23 national titles. A member of the Canadian Amateur Sports Hall of Fame since 1970. She continued to win Tennis Double Titles in the Ontario Senior Games after her retirement from coaching volleyball and badminton at the University of Toronto.) suddenly at the South Lake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Saturday, May 10th, 2008, at the age of 82. Marjory Shedd of Orillia, will be sadly missed by her best friend Helgi Pedel of Orillia. Marjory was the daughter of the late Florence and Edward Shedd. She was predeceased by her brothers Phillip, Randolph, Beverley and sisters Dorothy Pink and Kathleen Shedd. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Relatives and friends will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia on Saturday afternoon from 12 Noon until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1 P.M.
