LANGDON, James Brian (Brian)
At home, surrounded by his family and close friend, Frank Renaud, on Thursday, May 15, 2008, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Brian Langdon, beloved husband of Mary and devoted father of James; much loved son of James B. Langdon and the late Shirley Langdon; dearest brother of Leslie Langdon and the late Lynne Wood; dear friend and brother-in-law of James Weekes and Donald Hicks; treasured uncle of Colin, Christine and Kathryn; cherished great uncle of Jillian, Matthew, Emma and Grace. Brian was a man who devoted himself to his family and the Leaside and Southampton communities. He was a regular canvasser for The Canadian Cancer Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Our family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the friends from both of our neighbourhoods who gave us so much love, support, encouragement and food over these many months. A memorial service will be held at Northlea United Church, 125 Brentcliffe Rd., Toronto, Ontario, on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation to follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, Southampton or to the charity of your choice.
