Sitting down for the judge

It occurred to me yesterday, as two members of the alleged first family of Canadian terrorism sat on their duffs while the rest of those in an Old City Hall courtroom got to their feet at the sight of the presiding judge, that it may be time for a little reciprocal instruction in good manners.
