Legalizing VLTs no answer, Ontario detective says

HALIFAX -- Nova Scotia Premier John Hamm's argument that government-regulated video lottery terminals keep underground machines at bay doesn't stand up, and legal VLTs simply worsen gambling's social problems by fostering addicts, a detective with Ontario's Illegal Gambling Unit says.
