Short-trackers accept the sport's rise and falls

Emery Holmik, the high-performance director for Speed Skating Canada, has said it is reasonable to expect his athletes will win "somewhere between five to seven medals, which would exceed our best performances in Nagano [1998] and Lake Placid [1932]."
