Day trippers

Vancouver -- I see Sir Paul has joined his fellow aging British and/or Irish rock stars in condemning Canada for something they frown upon. This time it's for our seal hunt. Why don't Sir Bob, St. Bono and Sir Paul stick to what they know best (making mediocre music) or perhaps grandstand for some more important ideals involving their home countries: civil unrest, poverty, a losing battle in Iraq, etc.?
