Bush shrugs off name-calling from the north

WASHINGTON -- Canadians have fired lots of nasty epithets at George W. Bush but the President laughed them off yesterday, saying they don't "bother me in the least." In advance of a summit tomorrow in Cancun with his long-time friend Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canada's new Conservative Prime Minister, Stephen Harper -- a leader more in ideological step with the Republican President than recent Liberal prime ministers -- Mr. Bush said the mudslinging from Canada didn't undermine an otherwise constructive relationship.
