'Most appropriate' to keep events private, Defence Minister says

OTTAWA -- Debate over the government's approach to fallen soldiers raged in Parliament for a third day yesterday, as Prime Minister Stephen Harper defended his government's decisions to not lower the flag on the Peace Tower when soldiers are killed and to keep the public away when their remains are returned home.
