Award reduced to teacher struck by officer

VANCOUVER -- A provincial Supreme Court judge has reduced by nearly 25 per cent the amount of damages that must be paid to a Vancouver schoolteacher assaulted by a TransLink constable.A civil jury awarded $52,000 to Christy Logeman last month after a two-week civil trial.
