CanWest stops publishing money-losing freebie Dose
The final issue of Dose hit the streets yesterday, as CanWest MediaWorks Income Fund decided to cut its losses on the money-losing youth newspaper.The one-year-old free publication was losing between $9-million and $10-million a year. The decision to shelve it came amid dwindling support from advertisers, the company said.
