Day of raids alarms residents
It was 5 o'clock yesterday morning when Mary Pootosh awoke to a police raid in front of her third-floor apartment's door.Officers clad in bulletproof vests carrying assault rifles were swarming into another apartment in the housing complex on Leila Lane, near Allen Road north of Lawrence Avenue.
