Driveway not private, court rules in impaired driving case

Anyone who thought their driveway is a private place had better think again. The Ontario Court of Appeal disagrees.In a 3-0 ruling yesterday, it overturned an acquittal and ordered a new impaired driving trial for a Toronto man who was charged in 2001 after two police officers walked up his driveway and arrested him in his car.
