Canada's national guitar hits the road

Jowi Taylor's quintessentially Canadian guitar is set to make its performance debut in Ottawa today.The instrument -- which Taylor fashioned from a collection of Canuck artifacts he painstakingly collected, such as Pierre Trudeau's canoe paddle, the ship deck of the Bluenose II, and Paul Henderson's hockey stick -- will be played by Stephen Fearing at the Canada Day celebrations at the nation's capital. Thus begins a summer-long sea-to-sea tour for what's been dubbed the Six String Nation Guitar.
