Lebanese soldiers battle feelings of futility

AMCHIT, LEBANON -- The thin-faced Lebanese army soldier shrugged when asked how he responded to Israeli shells falling on his base last week. The truth was awkward."We couldn't do anything. We just hid," he said, looking at the ground as he fiddled with his M-16 assault rifle. "It was very frustrating."
