Gates gives millions to Global Fund
The battle against three diseases that are a scourge of sub-Saharan Africa and other developing regions received a substantial boost yesterday when the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donated $500-million over five years to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
