Government to deliver funds to help homeless
Toronto and other cities will receive all the federal money they had counted on for homeless initiatives this year, ending months of uncertainty about a feared funding shortfall.In separate announcements last week, the federal and Ontario governments confirmed that money will finally flow for more that 40 housing projects across the province for low-income families, victims of domestic violence and people with mental illness.
