Injection site gets new lease on life
VANCOUVER -- Vancouver's safe injection site will be kept open until December of 2007, after getting a last-minute reprieve from federal Health Minister Tony Clement.However, Mr. Clement said he was unable to approve a request that would have extended the life of the Vancouver site for another 3½ years.
