CanJet's big-carrier plan parked in hangar

Julie Gossen's dreams of turning CanJet Airlines into a national rival to Air Canada vanished yesterday as she announced the end of scheduled flights this Sunday.Ms. Gossen, CanJet's chief operating officer, had envisaged a cross-country network, but in an internal message to employees, she expressed regret at the abrupt closing of commercial routes serving 14 Canadian and U.S. cities.
