Fatal fire spurs call for mandatory sprinklers

A fire that killed an Etobicoke resident of a Toronto Community Housing Corp. building has prompted a call for the installation of sprinklers in seniors housing."Unfortunately, we always find out too late what should have been done," Councillor Gloria Lindsay Luby, vice-chair of Toronto Council's roundtable on seniors, said yesterday.
