U.S. to unveil plan to set up watchtowers along border

WASHINGTON -- The Canadian border could be lined with as many as 900 surveillance towers designed to track illegal immigrants attempting to sneak south under a contract expected to be awarded today by the U.S. government to a consortium led by defence and aerospace giant Boeing Co.
