Critics blast port authority 'whitewash'
OTTAWA, TORONTO -- A much-anticipated federal report has given a nod of approval to the conduct of the Toronto Port Authority and its island airport operation, prompting local critics to lash out yesterday at a document they described as a "whitewash" that only postpones conflicts that surround the controversial facility.
