Opponent says PM is muzzling by-election candidate
LONDON, ONT. -- The Liberal candidate in the federal by-election in London North Centre accused Prime Minister Stephen Harper yesterday of muzzling the woman who is running for the Conservatives.Former London mayor Dianne Haskett has not been allowed to speak to local or national news media since she was nominated as the Tory candidate, Liberal candidate Glen Pearson said. However, after he issued a news release on the matter, Ms. Haskett gave an interview to the London Free Press.
