It's not what the Fathers wanted

In 1900, at the International World Fair in Paris, Canada issued a bronze medal engraved with the motto: Le Canada est une Nation. It was with great pride, on the eve of a new century, that a country established only 33 years earlier was coming of age in the concert of nations.
