Calgary's other side

Calgary -- Ian Chodikoff (There's A Lot We Can Learn From Calgary -- Nov. 20) wouldn't be this excited if he lived in Calgary.The problem is that the city is close to the point of standstill. All roads and the much-vaunted light rapid transit are running at overcapacity and there is no room for expansion of either within an eight-kilometre radius of the downtown. Still, the city is planning for more workers in the core area. The medical system, just like other systems, is stretched beyond the limit.
