Hotel workers 'ready' to strike

On the day that actor Danny Glover vowed to fight charges levelled against him and labour leaders arising from a protest at a Niagara Falls, Ont., hotel last summer, the union representing hotel workers stepped up pressure for a new contract by holding rallies in front of two Toronto hotels.
