WHITHER THE REAL WHISTLER?
In the late seventies, Ian Verchère penned a Whistler comic strip about a ski-bum slacker-hero named Localman. We asked the cartoonist what would happen if Localman emerged from a cryogenic snowbank on Christmas Day and wandered into the village. Which defunct hangouts would he mourn and which new ones would he inhabit?
