Hire more women in fire halls, city told
VANCOUVER -- The union representing firefighters in Richmond says the city should take a more active role in making the department more diverse after one of its three female firefighters resigned."Our hiring pools should look more like our community," said Tim Wilkinson, president of the Richmond firefighters union.
