Why was Quebec teen killed in B.C?

MONTREAL, VANCOUVER -- He was a slim, blond, teenager with an interest in guitars and Buddhism. Vivien Morzuch was also a restless, precocious 15-year-old who hitchhiked to British Columbia six years ago, only to be found beaten to death in a ditch near the sagebrush and campsites of Steel-head Provincial Park, west of Kamloops.
